Portugal-based pay TV provider ZON Multimedia and Vodafone have launched a virtual mobile phone service with limited number of pre-paid phones, according to Reuters.
The company plans to expand the service by the end of October 2008. ZON has a five-year deal for the mobile network virtual operator service.
Luis Lopes, manager at ZON Multimedia, said: Our ambition is not to be a Vodafone or TMN, but to increase customer fidelity.
