Tangoe buys ttMobiles

Combined capabilities of the duo companies provide a managed mobility service offering with localised delivery

Communication software and services provider Tangoe has acquired UK-based mobile communications management services provider ttMobiles.

ttMobiles delivers a range of mobility services including: mobile sourcing, provider migration, localised charge auditing, personal call management, cost control, recorded call management, fleet administration and complete outsourced mobile management.

The combined capabilities of Tangoe and ttMobiles provide a managed mobility service offering with localised delivery.

Aldo Rossi will be the managing director of Tangoe's European operations, reporting to Scott Snyder, Tangoe's Corporate Development, Europe senior vice president.

ttMobiles executive directors will assume roles in Tangoe's European operations that correspond to their current responsibilities at ttMobiles. Tangoe will also continue to utilise the ttMobiles brand.

Tangoe president and CEO Al Subbloie said ttMobiles will enable Tangoe to deliver additional services and coverage to Tangoe multi-national and European-based customers. ttMobiles' cloud-based mobile communications management services are complementary to Tangoe's offering, further accelerating integrated CLM platform and providing an opportunity to drive cross-sell opportunities over the long-term.
